Seasoned AAA developer Crytek is dipping its toes into casual waters for the first time, with the impending release of Fibble: Flick 'n' Roll.

The Crysis studio's debut iOS title is a physics-based puzzler that sees you guiding a spherical extraterrestrial through 30 levels set in the rooms of a suburban home in search of his stranded crew. See the game in action below.

It's available to download now, priced at £1.49 on iPhone and £2.99 on iPad.

Crytek boss Cevat Yerli explained that it's an attempt to grow the studio's audience beyond the high-end shooter crowd it currently attracts.

"Innovation, fun and unique user experiences have always been at the heart of Crytek's games." he commented.

"Fibble: Flick 'n' Roll continues that tradition whilst inviting a wider audience to experience the high production values that help our games to stand out from the crowd.

"Players can look forward to breathtaking console-quality graphics, and - most importantly - a highly engaging gameplay experience that will offer lots of replay value."

The studio has a number of more core-orientated titles also in the works - Homefront 2 for THQ, free-to-play FPS Warface and Kinect action title Ryse.
