Bulletstorm developer working on new Gears of War

Polish studio People Can Fly step up.

Bulletstorm developer People Can Fly is working on the new Gears of War title teased last night.

That's according to Epic Games president Mike Capps, who spilled the beans via his Twitter account.

"Do I detect People Can Fly involvement? YES YES YES!" Capps wrote, in response to a question aimed at Bulletstorm creative director Adrian Chmielarz.

"I detect Epic PR team's heart attack," Chmielarz quipped. That message was then deleted.

First artwork from the under-wraps Gears game shows a prisoner in handcuffs, suggesting the title could be a prequel showing how series star Marcus Fenix ended up in chains.

Bulletstorm.
