Broken Steel PC and 360 fixed

It's not the end of the world.

Microsoft has fixed both the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the Broken Steel after problems arose at launch on Tuesday.

Those of you heading to Games for Windows Live Marketplace should be able to grab the 476.1MB update properly this time, while Xbox 360 owners should see new Achievements properly reflected in their gamerscore.

Bethesda said the GFW Live issue was down to a "Windows Live DRM Install error" on Tuesday, while the Achievements thing was tardy synchronisation. It comes after The Pitt ran into serious problems on Xbox Live.

Oh well, it's all over now, and Broken Steel's increased level cap, new perks and fearsome enemies saw us recommending you buy it before the other two packs, albeit with a few caveats. Check out the review for more.
