BioWare reveals Dragon Age Legends

Facebook game unlocks DA2 content.

Update: A Dragon Age Legends website is up. You can sign-up to beta test the game there.

Original story: BioWare is creating Dragon Age Legends specially for Facebook.

Due February 2011, the game offers not only a tailored casual RPG experience, but also a chance to unlock content inside Dragon Age 2.

Legends shares the Free Marches setting of Dragon Age 2. You and your 583 friends - oh, you don't have that many? - can quest, loot, share rewards and grow a kingdom.

Is there character customisation? Check. An upgrade system? Check. It's all in there.

Legends is an extension of what BioWare attempted with Flash game Dragon Age Journeys prior to the launch of Dragon Age: Origins.

There's every chance BioWare will build excitement for Dragon Age 2 with iPhone and iPad releases nearer game-launch, too.

Dragon Age 2 will better suit consoles than DAO.
