Assassin's Creed Odyssey's latest Epic Mercenary target is called Testiklos the Nut

Family duels.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey players in want of more murderous pursuits now have a new target to track across Ancient Greece - this time in the form of the questionably monikered Testiklos the Nut.

Of course, that name should be immediately familiar to Assassin's Creed Odyssey fans. It's awfully similar to that of Testikles, the rambunctious Olympic champion encountered by players later on in the game - one of Odyssey's more memorable creations.

Unsurprisingly, those similarities aren't a coincidence, and Ubisoft has introduced Testiklos on its Twitter page with a bit of a sad yarn. "Having been separated quite early in his life from his half-brother Testikles," the publisher explained, "his mood has been unstable ever since. He never felt as secure than with his own kin, so he deals with the separation by breaking things."

Now, as part of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's latest free Epic Mercenary event, already available in-game, players must embark on a true testes of strength, hunting Testiklos down and ensuring his days of breaking things are well and truly over. Success will reward victors with their target's treasured heavy blunt weapon, known, perhaps inevitably, as Testiklos' Nutcracker.

Odyssey's Epic Mercenary quests are limited-time events so Testiklos won't be hanging around for long. If you want him in the bag, you'll need to gonad get a move on.
