Wii RPG Xenoblade Chronicles releases in Europe on 2nd September with a bundle pack that includes a red Classic Controller Pro.

Developers Monolith Soft is known for its long-running Xenosaga series and duo of highly-regarded Baten Kaitos RPGs for GameCube.

Xenoblade hit headlines earlier this week as fans mounted "Operation Rainfall" - a campaign requesting Nintendo of America localise a trio of Wii RPGs.

Xenoblade Chronicles still has no US date, but Nintendo zealots have mass pre-ordered the game, pushing it to the top of Amazon's video game sales chart. Other Rainfall targets are Japan-only Pandora's Tower and Mistwalker's The Last Story.

For Europe, Xenoblade's release helps prop up a dwindling launch schedule for Wii software, as gamers wait patiently for Nintendo's own Zelda: Skyward Sword.
