Deus Ex 2 (oops!) on PS2

Various sources report today that Deus Ex: Invisible War is in development for PS2. This isn't too surprising, as we seem to recall Eidos and Ion Storm announcing this in the first place. Whether that's the case or not, it's certainly out in the open now, thanks to a little PS2 logo under supported platforms on the Eidos Deus Ex website.

However, we thought you'd be interested to know that Eidos has been stamping its little feet in the UK regarding the media's treatment of Invisible War. Poor little Eidos remarks that the game's official title is "Deus Ex: Invisible War," and that the work-in-progress title of Deus Ex 2 or DX2 should now be abandoned. If we want to abbreviate the name (which Eidos tells us is a bit of a mouthful), it is suggested that we go for Deus Ex: IW.
