Fly Me To The Moon

Anarchists put you in control of lunar settlement

Anarchy Enterprises and Unique Entertainment are currently hard at work bringing the ever popular "SimCity" style of game to the final frontier with "Luna : Moon Colony Simulator". Luna does exactly what it says on the tin, putting you in charge of developing and maintaining a sprawling colony on the moon.

"Luna's storyline starts off in the not-too-distant future with the fuel crisis at critical levels", Anarchy's Bill Wallace explains. "Alternate sources of energy are not enough to meet high demands, and reserves are almost exhausted. To counter the crisis, the newly formed Space Agency has coordinated a plan to mine the Moon's abundant resources of Helium and Uranium. These materials will bring about a new revolution in world energy with Nuclear Fusion and Fission powered Reactors, and ensure peace and prosperity for people back on Earth."

Things are certainly looking promising at this stage, with an impressive fully 3D engine making a welcome change from the old fashioned sprites-and-tiles worlds of other city-building games like "SimCity 3000" and "Pharaoh", and the developers promising a "new level of game play" for the genre. Hopefully we should know soon if the game is going to live to the hype...
