Alpha Protocol delayed to summer 2010?

SEGA's spy RPG facing six-month hiatus.

SEGA's spy role-playing game Alpha Protocol may launch next summer instead of this October according to US retailers.

GameStop and Amazon both recently updated their listings to a June 2010 launch.

Amazon UK carries no date for the game, and most other regional outlets still list 30th October.

SEGA has declined to comment.

Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, Alpha Protocol follows the life of spy Michael Thorton, who can swagger or swear his way through a twisting and turning tale, bedding saucy sources along the way.

Once penned for Q1 2009, the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 game has only recently taken proper shape after a bout of summer previews - Eurogamer's coverage included.
