Alien Breed trilogy boxed for Xbox 360
Will shops beat download price?Team17 brought Alien Breed back to life as a downloadable series in 2009. Two years and two games later, the Alien Breed trilogy is being boxed for shops as a complete series on Xbox 360.
The Alien Breed Trilogy will be released on 18th March.
There's no word whether this will be a budget release, but it will need to be to compete with the combined 2400 MSP (£20.56) price of all three games on Xbox Live Arcade.
Alien Breed was reinvented as a pretty isometric co-op shooter for download on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
All three of those new Alien Breed games - Evolution, Assault, Descent - earned 7/10 on Eurogamer
Incidentally, each of those Alien Breed games can be trialled for free on Xbox Live Arcade.
