Xbox Live to get Home-style game space?

Survey said to reveal new "AvatArcade" .

Microsoft may be planning to launch a new Xbox Live environment which will let avatars explore a virtual arcade and play retro games.

As reported by Kotaku, the environment is apparently mentioned in a new survey. Names for the space under consideration include AvatArcade, Game Room, RetroCade, Retro Game, Game Preserve, Game Gallery, Tower of ROM and Tower of Game(s).

Prototype screenshots suggest you'll be able to play games like RealSports Baseball and Basketball, amongst other Atari titles. There's also branding for Intellivision titles Shark! Shark! and Star Strike.

Microsoft has declined to comment on rumours or speculation, again.
