Xbox 360 Crunchyroll and Sports Picks apps go live

The Crunchyroll and Sports Picks apps have launched on Xbox 360, Microsoft has announced.

Crunchyroll is an anime and Asian drama specialist app, with the likes of Naruto Shippuden, Hunter x Hunter and Sword Art Online. There are over 20,000 episodes of professionally subtitled anime, Korean drama and live-action titles in high definition. It supports Kinect, too.

Sports Picks lets you pick winners in sports and see how you did versus your friends. There are online leaderboards and Xbox SmartGlass functionality.

Crunchyroll and Sports Picks are part of a long list of new apps set to launch worldwide between now and spring 2013. Over 40 are added, including apps for Supermarket giant Sainsbury's and music streaming service Napster.
