XBL Bulletstorm, Crysis 2 demos out now

FPS tasters on offer.

Gold subscription exclusive demos for upcoming shooters Bulletstorm and Crysis 2 are available to download from Xbox Live.

The Bulletstorm demo, which you can queue up to download from Xbox.com, weighs in at 1.08GB. It's due out on the PlayStation Network tomorrow.

It features a slice of Echo mode, a cooperative mode that tracks and compares player scores while they play through locations found in the campaign. The location in the demo is a collapsed building, which players must traverse.

The idea is you use the Skillshot system to kill bad guys in as creative a fashion as possible. The more creative the kill, the more points you'll score.

The Bulletstorm demo also lets players unlock platform-specific upgrades to use in the full game's Anarchy multiplayer mode. These include the Crimson Leash and Stealth Armour.

Meanwhile, the Xbox 360-exclusive 1.80GB multiplayer demo of Crysis 2 is also available to download.

The beta features the Skyline map and two game modes: Team Instant Action and Crash Site.
