Watch this Sony engineer take apart a PlayStation 4

What's inside and what it all does.

Whenever a new console launches, it's never long before someone takes a screwdriver to it and shows the world what's inside. With PlayStation 4, Sony has done it first.

A new video posted by Wired stars PS4 engineering director Yasuhiro Ootori unwrapping the system layer by layer and describing what each piece does.

It's a fascinating look inside the PS4's guts and, as the console comes apart piece by piece, an intriguing lesson as to how the console was initially put together.

And now you don't need to try this yourself at home.
