VC: Double Dragon and two C64 games

World Games and Last Ninja.

Virtual Console devotees can choose between the NES version of Double Dragon and a pair of creaky old C64 games that are no doubt stonewall classics and I'm just in denial, all for 500 Wii Points (GBP 3.50 / EUR 5 approx).

Double Dragon's NES incarnation is the usual side-scrolling beat-'em-up (remember those?), although it lacks the original version's two-player simultaneous control - instead you take turns - and gains a Versus mode.

Meanwhile, the C64 games are World Games, in which you perform various events from around the world - cliff diving, bull riding, sumo wrestling, weightlifting, etc. - and The Last Ninja, an action-adventure where you try to track down the evil Shogun Kunitoki and kill him using combinations of directional controls and the fire button.

Look out for a roundup of those three later today.
