Streamed mobile games anyone? Twitch is making it a reality with the Twitch Mobile Software Development Kit, announced today.
It coincided with the announcement of 10 million installs for the Twitch app on iOS and Android devices.
The Twitch Mobile SDK will allow capturing and broadcasting of mobile gameplay and audio. You'll be able to capture from the front-facing camera, oh god, and use either the on-board audio or an external microphone.
Videos can be archived right away, there's multiple broadcast quality and apparently chat options are "robust".
The mobile announcement comes not long after Twitch set a date for its app arriving on Xbox One - 11th March. Saying "Xbox, broadcast" will do exactly that, so best not say it at the wrong time, eh?
