Sonic Dash, the Sonic the Hedgehog endless runner, has launched on the App Store.

It costs £1.49. There are, as you'd expect, in-app purchases. It works with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, and has been optimised for iPhone 5.

In the video below, published by TouchGameplay, we see gameplay similarities to Temple Run.

Sonic Dash is made by Sega's Hardlight Studios, which created Sonic Jump. Hardlight is Sega's third UK-based studio, alongside Sports Interactive and Creative Assembly, and focuses on mobile games.
