The Walking Dead: Episode 2 staggers onto XBLA tomorrow

Friday for PC, and "soon" on PS3.

The second episode in The Walking Dead series is out tomorrow on XBLA, developer Telltale has announced.

A PC release will follow on Friday, according to IGN. The PS3 version will also be out Friday in North America, though a European release has yet to be announced. Telltale PR rep Alan Johnson Tweeted that it will be "soon."

Episode 2: Starving for Help follows escaped convict Lee Everett as he and a group of survivors attempt to stave off a zombie invasion. Based on the trailer at the end of the last chapter, Episode 2 moves the saga away from the shambling metropolis of Atlanta and onto a farm. Decisions from the previous chapter will see consequences carry over into this latest installment.

The Walking Dead is Telltalle's fastest selling game ever, with over one million copies sold in its first three weeks.

Christian Donlan was fond of the first episode, awarding it a 7/10. "Like the comics, I suspect Telltale's take on The Walking Dead will be something of a slow-burner; Episode One forces you to make some interesting decisions, and now it's down to the rest of the series to see if they pay off," he wrote in his The Walking Dead: Episode One review.
