The Bible Online gets European date

Combines RTS and RPG elements.

Browser-based biblical-themed bonanza The Bible Online is to be released in Europe on 28th September.

The game is free to play and German and English versions will be available. It combines RTS and MMORPG elements, giving you the option to fight alone or form alliances.

Playing as Abraham and his descendants (the Birth Right system continues your line on via Isaac and Jacob), you must construct villages, manage resources, protect your tribe and conquer new lands.

As the game progresses you have to start engaging in military and diplomatic strategic activities. You also get to complete quests based on stories from the actual Bible.

Sounds like Civ V had better watch out.
