Sony working to fix Welcome Back issues

Paying Plus subs can't access content.

Sony is working to fix a problem that prevents PlayStation Plus subscribers from downloading this month's content.

The Welcome Back offer, which launched alongside the return of the PlayStation Network last month, is not expiring, Sony said.

This is preventing those who are fully paid up Plus members from accessing all of their goodies.

"We are working on this problem now as a matter of priority and expect customers to see this fixed over the next few days," PlayStation Network product manager James Thorpe said on the EU PlayStation Blog.

The PS Plus content for 6th July to 3rd August includes Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars and Golden Axe free from PSN, PSOne game Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, and minis Dr. Maybe and the Adventures of Scarygirl and JellyCar 2.

PlayStation Plus this week celebrated its first birthday.

During its first year it has provided subscribers access to over £700 worth of content, Sony said.
