Sony announces Nintendogs-esque PlayStation Vita Pets
Bona fido.Sony has announced PlayStation Vita Pets, a virtual canine simulator that looks a lot like Nintendogs.
You can pamper and personalise your pooch - just as in Nintendo's DS and 3DS pet sims - and take your bundle of fur for walks.
But there are two key differences - adventures with your PlayStation Vita Pets pet extend beyond the local neighbourhood. You can explore caves and dungeons, find treasure and also have your dog speak to you.
That's the second big difference - each canine now has a voice, and for some reason a Californian accent.
Through the Vita's AR technology you can also see your pet roaming around your house and garden. See the whole lot in action below:
