Silent Hill Origins for PS2?

Spookier things have happened.

Konami and Climax's PSP Silent Hill game, Origins, may be on its way to PlayStation 2.

That's according to Kotaku, which claims to be in possession of a fact sheet that lists Climax as the developer and March 2008 as the target release period.

Konami UK had nothing to add when we got in touch this morning, but a well-received PSP game making the transition to PS2 would hardly be unprecedented. Rockstar, notably, has transitioned its Grand Theft Auto titles Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories to the PS2 following headline releases on PSP.
