Sega's Alex Kidd is getting a remake

It's been ages.

Unloved Sega mascot - no, not that one - Alex Kidd is making a return via a fresh version of 1986 classic Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

An expanded remake, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX will feature all of the original platformer and more - extra levels, new boss fights, and a boss rush mode.

A classic mode option will also be offered, so you can switch off the 2020s visuals and return to a blockier 1980s experience.

The remake will launch in early 2021 for PC via Steam, PlayStation, Switch and Xbox. Here's how it looks:
