SEGA quiet on Viking game

Retailer listing disappears.

SEGA has shut up shop on rumours it is making a next-generation game based around hairy Vikings.

It all spiralled out of Odin's control yesterday, after US retailer GameStop produced a listing for PS3 and 360 title Vikings: Battle of Asgard.

SEGA was pipped as the publsher and developer, alongside a release date of February 2008.

But unfortunately the listing has now been removed.

We'll keep our eyes fixed on SEGA next week at the Leipzig Games Convention 2007. Head over to our GC index for all the event coverage.
