PlayStation 3 owners who pick up Saints Row: The Third later this year will be treated to an exclusive game mode.

Exact details weren't offered during the announcement in Sony's E3 show, though it will involve a "unique weapon".

THQ's OTT crime caper is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this November.
