Rap heavyweights back scratching game

Will come with deck peripheral too.

Developer 7 Studios is working on a rhythm action game backed by legendary rap producer Quincy Delight Jones III (QD3).

On top of his input, Scratch: The Ultimate DJ will have a special deck peripheral built by music hardware specialist Numark.

The game is due out next spring, but no tracks have been mentioned - although we're promised "top urban artists".

Quincy Delight Jones III himself has over 20 years of experience in the industry, and has worked with the likes of Tupac, LL Cool J and Ice Cube.

"With the recent success of music-driven videogames and the dominance of urban culture in the youth market, the potential for Scratch is endless," said Quincy Delight Jones III.
