PS3/PSP firmware updates

DivX, Internet radio, more.

As promised, Sony has released firmware updates for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable.

The PS3 2.10 update introduces DivX and VC-1 (WMV) video playback support in the Video section of the XMB, along with Blu-ray 1.1 support.

There is also a voice changer feature so you can change the tone of your voice during voice or video chat, if you like doing that sort of thing.

Meanwhile, the PSP 3.80 update adds Internet radio support, and the Sony US blog has a how-to guide to getting it working.

To update your kit, head in the direction of the update menus in the PS3 and PSP XMBs, or explore the official Sony website for downloadable versions.
