Project X Zone 2 UK release date kicked into 2016

But here's a punchy new trailer to soften the blow.

Namco Bandai, Capcom, and Sega crossover fighter sequel Project X Zone 2 has been delayed to 2016.

That's for the game's release in both Europe and North America. It was previously scheduled to arrive here in the autumn.

Japanese gamers will still get the title on time, this year.

Capcom characters due to appear include Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy from the Resident Evil series, as well as Dante and Vergil from Devil May Cry.

Strider, Phoenix Wright and Street Fighter's Ryu will also feature.

Bandai Namco will offer up Jin and Kazuya from Tekken, while Sega's roster includes Ulala from Space Channel 5.
