Pirates vs. Ninjas heading to WiiWare

Xbox Live Arcade version out tomorrow.

Gamecock has officially announced a Wii version of Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball and aims for release sometime this winter.

The sports game, which features the titled rivals plus others such as robots and zombies, will be out this Wednesday on Xbox Live Arcade.

Developed by Blazing Lizard, yours is the familiar task of lobbing squashy balls at unguarded legs in order to eliminate players from the opposing team. However, special moves like Shuriken Attacks and Peg-Leg Stomps can be used to gain the upper hand.

Content in the Wii version appears to be unaltered, although visually the edges will be rougher than those of the Xbox 360 original. Head over to our Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball gallery to see for yourself.
