Panzer Dragoon is getting the VR treatment in the next year

The worlds of Sega's legendary on-rails shooter Panzer Dragoon and its cherished RPG spin-off Panzer Dragoon Saga are coming to unspecified VR platforms soon, with Japan's Wildman Inc on development duty (thanks for the heads-up VGC).

The team had already provided a proof of concept of sorts with The Gunner of Dragoon, though this is a fully-licensed run-through of some of the iconic locales in an 'omnibus' tour that folds in first-person gunplay. A non-VR version of the game, known as Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record, has also been touted.

Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record's unveiling comes on the 25th anniversary of the original Panzer Dragoon's launch, and it's not the only Panzer Dragoon project on the go at the moment - Forever Entertainment is currently working on remakes of the first two games for release imminently.
