No-show for Activision at this year's E3

Activision has pulled out of appearing at the E3 Media & Business Summit this summer, GamesIndustry.biz reports.

The Call of Duty and Guitar Hero publisher pointed to business reasons for its decision, and has apparently decided to run its own press event during the same week.

E3 will return to the Los Angeles Convention Centre this year after the inaugural downsized event was held in Santa Monica in 2007.

The E3 Media & Business Summit runs from 15th to 17th July. The organisers are yet to publish a line-up.

GamesIndustry.biz will be here, there and anywhere.
