Nintendo hints at 3DS 3D video recording

Iwata: "It would be enjoyable."

Nintendo has hinted that 3D video recording may one day come to the 3DS.

In the latest Iwata Asks column (translated by Andriasang) game developer legend Shigeru Miyamoto and Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata playfully chat about the possibility of the function being added to the 3DS.

According to Andriasang, Miyamoto said that Iwata is planning on making the system's 3D photo feature into a video feature. Iwata replied that it would be enjoyable if video functionality could be added to the system via a "future version up".

3D video recording via the 3DS? Amazing scenes.

The 3DS is due out in North America and Europe in March. An exact release date, pricing and launch line-up of games is expected to be announced next week.
