Nintendo details new 3DS eShop offerings

Pokemon Link: Battle, Steel Diver and Weapon Shop all detailed and dated.

Nintendo revealed further details on the imminent offerings on the 3DS eShop in its first Direct presentation of 2014, dating the likes of Nintendo Pocket Football Club, Steel Diver: Sub Wars and Level 5's Weapon Shop de Omasse.

Pokemon Link: Battle was also introduced, a match three game using assets from the popular RPG universe that's due out on 13th March.

Nintendo Pocket Football Club, a management-lite game that's got a touch of Kairosoft to it, was also detailed and dated, with its release coming on April 17th. If you're curious to find out more, Satoru Iwata's been asking the questions.

Steel Diver: Sub Wars, the free-to-play follow-up to one of the 3DS's early games, was also shown off. It's a tactical first person game, with a single player mode unlocked should you upgrade to the Premium version - and it's available right now on the eShop.

Finally, Weapon Shop de Omasse, an entry in the same Guild01 series that brought us Crimson Shroud and Attack of the Friday Monsters, was also explored. It's an inverse of RPG tropes as you staff a weapon shop that's at the service of heroes, crafting weapons and renting them out.

Weapon Shop de Omasse is the last of the Guild01 series to be released, and is due on February 20th - and to commemorate the occasion, all other games under the Guild01 umbrella are being discounted to £2.69 until February 23rd.
