We all hop around like impatient Chimps whenever someone mentions the elusive Resident Evil 4, and this morning was no exception when we discovered this video (direct link) nestling on Capcom's Japanese website, fresh from TGS.
The video's short and sweet at just over a minute, and displays our torch-wielding hero showing off his sweeping side parting hairdo to great effect.
Typically, it's a bracing night out there. Shafts of moonlight stream through the ornate windows, the crash of thunder, creatures lurking in the inky blackness, a child doll staring blankly into the gloom, a shadowy giant approaches... and all our 'Torch Wielding Hero TM' has is a bloody pistol with which to fend him off. Pah.
Wait! An apparition in the billowing curtain, a dead baby clutching a sword? This is getting more Silent Hill by the minute. The searching beam of the torch, a grandiose hallway, the scrape of a falling chain. Omigod, he's got the chain, and he's whipping our Torch Wielding Hero with it! Ruuuun! Waaaah! Run! Flap that hair.
"BIIIIOOOOOOOOHAZARRRRD FOOOOOUUUUURRRRR!" screams the Marlboro man. And then we weep, silently.
