Dates set for PAX 2008

The organisers of the annual Penny Arcade Expo have set the dates for next year's show, August 29-31, 2008 in Seattle, Washington, GamesIndustry.biz reports.
Exhibitor packets are now available, and attendee registration for the 5th annual show will open in January.
"PAX has always been about community," said Robert Khoo of Penny Arcade, "and I think that was really reflected in the overall vibe of the show."
"PAX celebrates what it means to be a gamer, and walking onto the show floor gives you this sense of kinship ... it just feels right."
Billed as the largest game festival in North America, 37,000 gamers attended the most recent Penny Arcade Expo, the first to be held at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center. In 2004, the first year of the festival, there were 4,500 attendees.
