SEGA has released a demo of Chromehounds on Xbox 360, and the Americans don't get to play it! Hahaha!

That's because, well, we don't know - but the bottom line is that the single-player demo, weighing in at 554.89MB, is available everywhere except the US and Canada. (Update: Apparently it's not available in Mexico either.)

"If you've ever tried to take your lemonade stand worldwide you'd understand," says the Marketplace FAQ on Major Nelson's blog.

The full game allows you to rumble around big landscapes as huge robots shooting at people, and includes some interesting multiplayer modes and customisation options - as you'll know if you read our extensive E3 impressions.

It's due out in Europe on July 7th.
