Mythic has announced that a new server for PC MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot is all set to open next week.

The new "Classic" server is a new type of server that's designed for players who don't mind having limits enforced on the powers that are earned by spending time in the game or opening several accounts.

It offers a variation of the current game since access to certain magical powers and objects obtained by playing the Trials of Atlantis expansion is restricted. In addition, players who use several accounts at the same time will have their enhancement bonuses reduced.

The new server is English-language but will be open to all European players, and they're offering a 14 day free trial to newcomers to the game. The trial includes unrestricted access to all the English, French, Italian, German and Spanish servers.

The "Classic" server will be up and running from Wednesday December 7th.
