Isn't it nice getting something cheap? Let us fill in the blanks for you: yes, it is! It's always nice to go to a shop expecting to spend twice as much as you need to, and if you happen to saunter in the direction of a gaming emporium on August 22nd or thereafter looking for copies of Kingdom Hearts, Ratchet & Clank or WRC II Extreme, that's exactly what will happen! These previously expensive titles, each more than deserving of the "Platinum" moniker, will be sitting there in black-spined silvery boxes waiting for you to pick them up and cherish them.

Oh, and anybody living in another era where PSone is still the dominant lounge force, you'll also find Treasure Planet and WRC Arcade comfortably reduced. Isn't that lovely?

What's more, Sony reckons, but can't confirm, that The Getaway, the fiercely controversial like-it-or-loathe-it London crime sim, could be on its way to Platinum on September 19th. We hope so, because it's really good! Ha!
