Metro3D has bought the right to publish Irem's arcade shoot 'em up R-Type Final in all PAL territories, the publisher has announced. The game is now due out on PlayStation 2 over here on January 30th, 2004. Given R-Type's significant legacy, we reckon this should warm plenty of cockles. It's certainly a date to keep in your diary.
