Donkey Konga confirmed

Time to drum up some interest.

Various reports this weekend state that Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has confirmed "Donkey Konga", the Namco-developed DK project announced just under a fortnight ago, will be a rhythm-action game using a Conga drum peripheral.

The experience will presumably be similar to Namco's Taiko no Tatsujin for PS2, which also made use of a drum peripheral.

Lik-Sang claims that Donkey Konga will be ready in time for Christmas this year, although they are still waiting for confirmation of date and price, so you can't pre-order it from them just yet.
