LucasArts has finally announced that its long-awaited massively multiplayer RPG, Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, will make its way to US stores next Thursday 26th June priced at $49.99, which includes a 30 day subscription to the game. The publisher is offering a range of subscription fees, including month-to-month payments at $14.99; quarterly payments at $14.00 per month; six-monthly payments at $13.00 per month; and yearly payments at $12.00 per month.

A special edition of the game will also be made available at a princely $79.95, which includes a book of game-related art, in-game wearables, a pewter figurine, a lapel pin and patch, and a signed manual which all sounds just lovely.

As for where us Europlebs might be able to get a copy of the game at this stage, well we've just bought a copy over at Gamestop for the suggested $49.99 since LucasArts hasn't uttered a word about a release over this way yet. Get your import on.
