2K sorts Dungeon Siege wording

'Selected titles'.

Following the announcement that it's set to release a pair of Dungeon Siege games later this year, Take-Two has sent over a mail clarifying some of the wording in its press release. Largely because we suggested the original was open to interpretation (naughty, aren't we!).

So, to be clear, when it said it had, "acquired publishing rights to Gas Powered Games' critically acclaimed Dungeon Siege series," what it actually meant was, "selected titles in Gas Powered Games' critically acclaimed Dungeon Siege series." (Our emphasis.) [He's still loving that "our emphasis" jazz, isn't he readers? -Ed]

And when Christoph Hartmann, managing director of Take-Two's 2K Games label, said, "2K Games is fully committed to expanding the franchise on PC and new platforms like the PSP system," what he actually meant was just, "2K Games is fully committed to expanding the franchise on PC and the PSP system." None of that "like the PSP" stuff.

In other words, Take-Two wants to make sure you realise it's just doing the two games at the moment - expansion pack Dungeon Siege II: Broken World on the PC, and Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony on PSP. So there you go...
