EA to publish Spawn: Armageddon
Another Namco notch on EA's belt.

EA will publish Spawn: Armageddon in Europe for the PS2, Xbox and GameCube as part of its long-standing relationship with Namco. Previous fruits of their union have included Soul Calibur II and Dead to Rights. EA plans to publish Spawn: Armageddon in PAL territories in March 2004.
Spawn originally began life at 3DO, before it was snapped up for a song by Namco following the Army Men publisher's collapse earlier this year. Armageddon is a 25-mission third-person action affair which has been drawn up in close accordance with the comic book storylines - and even includes the debut of a soon-to-be recurring character.
