SSX, Godfather in queue for Wii

Need For Speed Carbon and Madden NFL are already on their way to Nintendo Wii, but that's not all the publisher has in mind - with Tiger Woods, The Godfather, SSX and Harry Potter all set to freestyle.

"Once we started to experiment with Madden on Wii, there was an explosion of innovation. Everyone in the studio is energised by the creative opportunity afforded by both the hardware and controller," says EA general manager John Schappert.

"By reaching into our catalogue, we are able to bring a fresh and distinctive experience to some of EA's most popular franchises. Creatively, the gameplay possibilities are staggering and endless."

EA's currently showing off some of its latest at its studio showcase event in the US, which has already seen confirmation of a new Lord of the Rings title and Half-Life: Episode 2 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
