VU Games reshuffle and 2004 line-up

CEO/chairman makes way, while new Crash and Tolkien games join roster.

No doubt reacting to the company's 58-million euro loss, Vivendi-Universal CEO Jean-Rene Fourtou has leapt into action and shaken up the struggling games division, replacing VU Games chairman and CEO Ken Cron with a new chairman (Rene Penisson) and separate CEO (Bruce Hack, who helped negotiate the $14bn sale of Vivendi's entertainment assets to NBC).

Thanks to C&VG too for digging up a full list of Vivendi's planned 2004 releases, many of which are already known, but some of which are bound to cause the odd murmur. We've highlighted the ones we didn't know about and which don't have "Barbie" in the title, so either forgive our ignorance or join us in excitement.
