Nintendo has announced a further three GameCube titles to be added to its cut-price Player's Choice range in the US by September 25th. Nintendo luminaries Metroid Prime, Super Mario Sunshine and the infamous Animal Crossing will be added to the range with a price point of $29.99. Along with those titles, three games already in the range - Star Fox Adventures, Pikmin and Luigi's Mansion - will drop to $19.99.

This announcement highlights a rather sharp contrast between the US range and the existing and rather limp-looking £19.99 Player's Choice range over this side of the pond, which features FIFA 2003, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, 007 Nightfire, Luigi's Mansion, Medal of Honor Frontline, Pikmin and Super Smash Brothers Melee - it would be interesting to see whether or not NoE intends to follow the example of its US chums. Heh.
