If you can't make it to Los Angeles for E3 next month, have no fear - Eurogamer TV will be there to bring you extensive video coverage direct from the show floor.

And to celebrate, we've hired a new editor for EG TV - Mr Johnny Minkley, who was formerly editor of trade paper MCV and ComputerAndVideogames.com. He also presents the videogames section on Jo Whiley's Radio One show, don't you know.

Johnny will be taking two film crews to LA, and you can expect high quality streaming video from all the key events and stands at the most important gaming event of the year.

Eurogamer's business development manager, Pat Garratt, took a break from his busy business development managing schedule to say: "Johnny's decision to take the Editor's role on Eurogamer TV is great news for the company, and we're very excited about the future of the service.

"We are committed to video as one of the key parts of our offering going forward, and we firmly believe Johnny has the experience, drive and vision to make Eurogamer TV the definitive destination for games-related video content on the internet."

Eurogamer TV has already been a huge success - in the first month since launch, we've served up more than 100,000 videos, providing people too lazy to read the news articles we slave over ALL DAY with a much less labour intensive way of finding out about games.

"The potential for Eurogamer TV is spectacular," said our new friend Johnny.
