Blood Will Tell due in Europe next month

SEGA's adaptation of another of Astro Boy creator Osamu Tezuka's efforts should be with us around the same time as Otogi 2.

Having confirmed yesterday that it plans to release Xbox-exclusive slasher Otogi 2 in Europe next month, SEGA Europe followed up today by confirming that PS2-exclusive Blood Will Tell (known as Dororo in Japan) will be following suit, and should also be on store shelves during February.

Blood Will Tell is an adaptation of a Manga tale by Astro Boy creator Osamu Tezuka, and features an odd chap called Hyakkimaru who, having been torn apart by demons as an infant, has been rebuilt with things like twin blades in his arms and projectile weapons in his knee-caps. The idea is to defeat 48 demons that have his real body bits and rebuild himself - and each addition has a certain effect on the way the game plays. Regain your eyes, for example, and suddenly the game switches from the greyscale style of the introduction to full colour.

You can read more about it in our first impressions from last July, and we should have a review for you in the coming weeks. Much as we will with Otogi 2.
