Warthog confirms Philosopher's Stone

Alohomora!

UK-based Warthog's trading statement today has confirmed rumours that it is developing Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone for EA.

"Warthog will also announce today that it has signed a publishing agreement with Electronic Arts to develop a Harry Potter and the Philosopher's StoneTM game on the next-generation consoles," the statement read.

Warthog will be working under the supervision of EA's UK studio, using its proprietary TUSK technology to recreate Hogwarts and other familiar areas like Diagon Alley. The game is due out in autumn 2003.

Warthog is also working on Looney Tunes: Back In Action for EA/Warner Bros. and Battlestar Galactica for Vivendi.
