Remember "Rolling"? It was Rage's attempt at "extreme sports", harnessing the growing popularity of inline skating, baggy trousers and licensed pop rock. While we do hope that Rage's former designers have found work elsewhere since the company went under, we were somewhat relieved at not having to play yet another extreme sports game.

But now Rolling is back, this time in the hands of SCI (who else?) and destined for release on PS2 and Xbox later on in 2003. SCI has even released some new screenshots to commemorate the announcement.

Anyway, here's a quick rundown of what you can expect: 21 licensed inline skaters (including Jon Julio, Cesar Mora, Fabiola da Silva, whoever they are), 250 different grinds, grabs, spins, flips and cess slides, a custom character mode, 10 huge levels, four competitions, a skate park editor, THPS4-style non-linear progression, split-screen two-player modes and more than 40 licensed tracks (including the likes of The Hives, Chuck D and Del The Funky Homosapien). If that gets you excited, then more power to ya.
